Dorothee Thum is specialized in intellectual property law, with a particular emphasis on copyright and design law. She advises on the protection and licensing of IP rights and is experienced in representing clients as counsel in national and cross-border IP litigation before German courts. In addition, she has conducted various studies and rendered expert opinions in matters of German and international copyright law.
Education:
Studies of law at the universities of Bonn and Munich. Full scholarship from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes. 1995-2002 member of the research staff, Max-Planck-Institute for Intellectual Property, Competion and Tax Law, Munich. 1996 admitted to the Munich Bar. 1997 founding partner of DTS Munich.
